Blood is taken from the patient using the patented RegenLab PRP tube in a procedure similar to a blood test. The patented tube is then spun in a centrifuge, which separates the red blood cells from PRP using a special gel. The PRP is then directly injected into the skin to support and help accelerate the process of skin regeneration and repair.
PRP contains fundamental growth factors, which are activated by the platelets and help initiate the skin regeneration process. For example, when you cut yourself, the body’s natural response is to attract platelets that release growth factors and facilitate healing. By concentrating the platelets we increase the release of growth factors.

Overall, PRP is an especially safe treatment option with no risk of allergic reaction because we use your own blood. However, anytime a needle is placed in the body, there is a risk of infection, bleeding/bruising, and nerve damage. For this treatment these risks are very low.

As with any treatment, results are individual and more so with PRP due to the use of your own blood. You are likely to get better results if you are in good health.
This treatment tends to be a slow burner and continue for a long time. We recommend three treatments initially and then one treatment every 6-12 months for optimum results.
